• Every page must answer a real reader problem before it is optimised for a keyword.
• Financial, tax and legal claims are checked against official or primary sources.
• Affiliate links never change a recommendation, a ranking or a risk explanation.
• High-risk topics carry plain-language warnings and a beginner-safe alternative.
• We do not publish user testimonials, star ratings or review counts that we cannot verify.

How we research and update pages

• Regulatory status is taken from the market's own regulator, central bank or tax authority, not from other blogs.
• Exchange details (fees, deposit rails, KYC level, availability) are checked against the provider's own public documentation.
• Evergreen guides are reviewed whenever regulation, tax rules, exchange availability or product safety changes.
• Where a figure can move (tax rates, fees, limits), we name the source and the period it applies to.
• Numbers we cannot attribute to a source are removed rather than estimated.

Sources we rely on

Across the EU the common frame is MiCA — Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on markets in crypto-assets — together with the guidance of ESMA and the EBA. Country pages are written from that market's own primary bodies:

• Czech Republic — Česká národní banka, Finanční správa
• Germany — BaFin, Bundeszentralamt für Steuern
• Italy — CONSOB, Banca d'Italia, Agenzia delle Entrate
• Poland — Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego (KNF), Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa
• Slovakia — Národná banka Slovenska, Finančná správa
• Hungary — Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB), NAV
• United Kingdom — FCA and HMRC, which sit outside MiCA
• Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden — each market's own financial regulator and tax authority

Where a rule differs between the EU frame and a national implementation, the national source decides what the page says for that country.

Corrections policy

If a page contains an error, we want to fix it. Report it through the contact page or by e-mail to [email protected] with the page URL and what is wrong. Factual errors that affect a financial, tax or safety decision are corrected as a priority, and the page's update date is changed when the correction is published. We correct the page itself rather than quietly deleting it.
